We planted a small garden this year and have really been enjoying the fresh veggies. Here is a salad we made today using fresh greens, onions, and peppers from the garden. The beets came from Whole Foods. I used a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dressing and a dash of Mumbo Jumbo — ELEGANCE seasoning.

I spent yesterday afternoon with the folks at Wakoola Water Gardens. Cla Allgood and his staff at Wakoola treated me to a great tour of their 9-acre “store”.
